Jagawirt Zu Aumbach in Rettenbach

We were there before the lockdown and I can only say one thing: Excellent !!! Great ambience, beautifully decorated and cozy. Excellent food and perfectly priced.

Ambiebte is great, everything is very neat and clean, and the beer garden for beautiful summer days is really great. The service staff is friendly but could be a little more attentive. The dishes are always really well presented, absolutely something for the eye! The menu could be a bit more varied, as I'm not exactly a fan of sweet potatoes, parsnips and the like! Due to the selection I had to choose a schnitzel Viennese style, which unfortunately tastes better with every good housewife, unfortunately it had frozen food - character ? The roast venison looked mega, but could not necessarily convince in terms of taste, the meat was okay, the sauce and the bread dumplings were unfortunately pretty tasteless. The back of the wild boar, however, convinced visually and also in taste! Location is great for cozy rounds with friends, large tables! The prices are in the appropriate, slightly upscale range! On the whole, the food is okay but mostly leaves room upstairs. The location is absolutely convincing because of its optics and cosiness !! We were there on Saturday evening, will definitely dare to visit again, Maybe the Sunday kitchen can really convince with roasts, duck etc.! All in all a great, successful evening!

Excellent cuisine. Very friendly, personal service. Coherent ambience. Lovely again! Even if the Jagawirt is a little off the beaten track, maybe that's why it is worth taking a short or long detour.

We saw Ben and his Jagawirt zu Aumbach some time ago at my restaurant, your local, and have wanted to come here for a long time! The food was amazing! One course even better than the other! .... Unfortunately we did not see the boss personally :))) .... but we were sure not to be here for the last time! The 55 KM journey was definitely worth it!

Was recently at the Jagawirt. Everything was perfect. Super delicious food, very friendly staff and a lovingly designed ambience. 5 stars are still not enough! Keep it up! Meanwhile we went to Jagawirt again. Have and make a delicious onion roast out of a piece of Dry Aged Tomahawk steak. It was so delicious and tender as butter. A dream made flesh ? The ambience was great, as always, and our service was just super friendly, helpful and accommodating. There is definitely no better inn here in the region. You are just great! Best regards Florian

Quaint inn with a very nice beer garden and friendly and brisk service. The food is always delicious and also very nicely arranged. The wild currywurst is amazing! Definitely try it.

After a long time we were back in the Jagawirt and are still thrilled. We were greeted very friendly by two young ladies. The food was really good, the atmosphere was very nice and cozy. The Jagawirt was booked out to the last seat. The three friendly conditions are commendable, always a smile and a friendly word. Great ... we'll be back soon

Top kitchen the best I've ever eaten !! Price / performance absolutely fair, for what is offered. Everything was great. E.g. also a schnitzel with fries for 9.90 €. Meat quality 1 a, beef fillet once. In addition, bacon beans and potato gratin.
